Training Camp provides fans the opportunity to watch Dallas Cowboys players up close as they train for the upcoming season.


America's Team will return to Oxnard in 2022 to open their 63rd training camp, and many practices will be open to the public, giving visitors, residents and guests the opportunity to see their favorite players and coaches as they step away from The Star in Frisco, TX to train for the upcoming NFL season.

  • The Training Camp grounds have an attendance capacity. Arriving early is encouraged!
  • General Parking is available at the following rates: Weekday: $10 cars/trucks; $20 oversized vehicles; Weekend: $20 cars/trucks; $30 oversized vehicles. Parking is limited. We recommend carpooling when possible.
  • No need to purchase Dallas Cowboys tickets! Admission to camp is FREE! Activities including autograph opportunities and field access will be available this year.

Dallas Cowboys Training Camp - Frequently Asked Questions


Fans will be able to attend all practice sessions that are open to the public, beginning with the first workout at 11:30 a.m. (Pacific time) on Wednesday, July 27th until the final open practice on Wednesday, August 10th.

Kick off Training camp with Oxnard Fan Night at The Collection at RiverPark on Thursday, July 28 at 5pm. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will be in attendance with a live performance, autograph signings and fan photos. Plus, take photos with Cowboys mascot, Rowdy! Oxnard Fan Night will be hosted by freestyle rap artist ZEALE, who will keep the event lively with Cowboys inspired games and trivia.

Training camp in Oxnard will be highlighted by the annual camp opening ceremony/special fan event - Cowboys Back Together Saturday, presented by American Airlines - as the team welcomes fans back to training camp on Saturday, July 30th. The Cowboys Back Together Saturday event will begin at 9:30 a.m. (Pacific) as fans enjoy live music, appearances by Cowboys Alumni, Dallas Cowboys mascot, Rowdy, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders autograph signing, exclusive merchandise deals, prizes, giveaways and more. The opening ceremony will take place at 10:45 a.m. (Pacific) which will include a performance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and remarks from Cowboys Owner, President and General Manager Jerry Jones before the 11:30 a.m. (Pacific) open practice session.

Additionally, on Monday, August 8th the team will host a Heroes Appreciation Day to show their gratitude towards military personnel, first responders and front line healthcare workers. Please note that this year, Heroes Day will be open to the general public with Heroes being honored. At past training camps, it has only been open to Heroes and their guests. Training camp in Oxnard will conclude on Wednesday, August 10th, as the Cowboys will then depart to participate in two joint practice sessions on the road - first in Denver against the Broncos before their preseason matchup on August 13th and next in Los Angeles against the Chargers before a preseason contest on August 20th.

Following the team’s return home to Texas after their last road preseason game, the final portion of Cowboys training camp will be held at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, with selected practices open to the public that will be announced at a later date.

The 2022 camp, presented by American Airlines, will mark the 43rd year that the team has trained in Southern California and the 16th season that the club has spent all, or a portion of, its camp at the Oxnard location.

Admission & Parking

Admission is FREE, no tickets needed, and is first-come/first-served until capacity is reached. Be advised that training camp is located outdoors, and no shaded areas are available.

Parking at River Ridge Playing Fields is $10/day for small vehicles and $20/day for large vehicles during the week and $20/day for small vehicles and $40/day for large vehicles on the weekends.

Parking and entry to Training Camp is located at 2501 Ventura Road, Oxnard, CA 93036. The parking lot has limited capacity. We recommend carpooling or ride sharing.

Fan Club Members

Dallas Cowboys United fan club members have an opportunity to get early entry to Training Camp approximately 30 minutes prior to non-member fans. Seating is not guaranteed and will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Preferred members will have access to early entrance to the fence line with field access on a first-come basis; Elite members will have a private field access area with a VIP tent. Fence line and field access are the ideal locations for autograph opportunities.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act while attending the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp at Oxnard CA and if you will require special assistance during your visit to training camp, please contact the City of Oxnard Facilities Department at (805) 385-7950. Notice of at least 72 hours prior to your arrival to training camp will enable staff to reasonably arrange for your accessibility needs during your visit.

Getting Here


Oxnard is on the coast, just 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles, and 30 miles south of Santa Barbara.Fly - Oxnard is an easy 90-minute drive from Los Angeles Airport (LAX), 60 minutes from Burbank Airport (BUR) and 40 minutes from Santa Barbara Airport (SBA).


You can also sit back and enjoy the scenery aboard the train! Oxnard's Transportation Center has regular service via Amtrak and Metrolink. Once in the station, you can take a taxi to Camp, about a 5-mile drive.


Driving Directions

Northbound on the 101 freeway from Los Angeles: Exit Oxnard Boulevard. Turn RIGHT. Make your first LEFT onto Town Center Drive. Make a LEFT onto Ventura Road. Travel 1 mile and it will be on your RIGHT before Vineyard Ave. (watch for traffic lines at the entrance to the parking lot).

Southbound on 101/126 freeway from Santa Barbara/Santa Clarita: Exit Oxnard Boulevard. Turn LEFT and go over the freeway. Make your first LEFT onto Town Center Drive. Make a LEFT onto Ventura Road. Travel 1 mile and it will be on your RIGHT before Vineyard Ave. (watch for traffic lines at the entrance to the parking lot).
