GETTING TO OXNARD

AIRPORT

Oxnard is located about 65 miles northwest of Los Angeles Airport (LAX), 55 miles west of Burbank Airport (BUR), and 45 minutes southeast of Santa Barbara Airport (SBA).

LAX SHUTTLE TO OXNARD

The following shuttles provide land transportation to and from LAX:

CAR

Driving from L.A. to Oxnard, you can travel north along Highway 1 (along the coast) or take Highway 101. To drive north along the coast, take the Santa Monica Freeway (I10) west to Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) then take PCH north. The drive takes about an hour (depending on traffic).

To take freeways all the way from LAX, take the 405 north; exit the 405 onto the 101 north and continue to Oxnard. Travel time is approximately 90 minutes, depending on traffic.

Transit Service

TRAIN

Relax, skip the traffic and save money on gas by taking Amtrak Pacific Surfliner or the Coast Starlight to Oxnard. The Pacific Surfliner stops at the Oxnard Transportation Center (201 E. Fourth Street) 10 times daily and hugs the southern California coast from San Luis Obispo to San Diego.

The Oxnard station is fully staffed and features wheelchair accessibility, checked baggage service, an enclosed waiting area, restrooms, a pay phone, and short-term and overnight parking.

The Coast Starlight connects Seattle and Los Angeles and stops twice daily in Oxnard.

BUS

Greyhound Bus Lines (800.231.2222, www.greyhound.com)stops at the Oxnard Transportation Center in downtown Oxnard at the corner of 4th and Oxnard Boulevard (201 East 4th Street).

Amtrak San Joaquins Thruway Bus-Only Tickets

Enjoy a scenic ride on Route 10 with Amtrak San Joaquins. Riders will now be able to purchase bus-only tickets for route 10, without the need of a train connection. Route 10 serves Oxnard and connects passengers from Santa Barbra, Bakersfield, Tehachapi, Mojave, Barstow, Las Vegas and MORE with city-to-city bus tickets.
