Beachcomber Tavern

Beachcomber Tavern is a neighborhood beer & wine bar located in the Silver Strand neighborhood in Oxnard just steps from the beach & has proudly served surfers, sunbathers, & sailors since 1938.

The bar rotates through about 60 different draft beers (12 at a time) & offers close to 20 bottled beers & about 20 different wines. It’s focus is mainly on California craft beer & Central Coast wine.

Being a small venue, small puzzles & kitschy games are provided to add entertainment options. The patio offers comfortable seating & space for guests to enjoy their small cheese plates alfresco. Free popcorn is always available & ordering food to be delivered is encouraged. Parking is limited at times. Locals mostly walk, bike, & skate to their favorite watering hole. Visitors are encouraged to use a ride share like Uber or Lyft or a designated driver who can drop them off & pick them up.
