The Oxnard Performing Arts Center Corporation (OPAC) is celebrating its 25th year as the official nonprofit arm of the Oxnard Performing Arts & Convention Center. Today, OPAC manages the on-site Community/Convention Center while a live entertainment partner, The Canyon, operates the main theater.
OPAC’s mission is to foster and serve the community through inclusive programming, cultural and artistic exchange, and developing people-centered spaces.
The Center hosts 1,500 events a year for over 350,000 visitors. Patrons enjoy a robust season of events featuring local and International as well as emerging and distinguished artists who help make Oxnard a vibrant and enriching place to live and visit.
Notable annual events include Dia de los Muertos, Native Plant Fest, PACC the Arts Festival, RESCUECON, AAPI Heritage Celebration, and so much more! The Center also hosts year-round classes in the visual and performing arts for all ages.You’ll find everything from festivals and concerts to special events and trade shows at OPAC. The Center’s network of banquet rooms, classrooms and outdoor patios and free, ample parking make planning events - for dozens to thousands of people - a breeze!
