Channel Islands Inaugural Reindeer Paddle

Get ready to paddle into the holiday season! The Channel Islands Harbor will host its inaugural Reindeer Paddle at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, inviting kayakers and paddleboarders to dress in their most festive holiday gear and spread cheer on the water.

This new event is part of the Harbor’s continuing effort to bring the community together through fun and family-friendly traditions that celebrate the spirit of the season.

Start Location: East Bank Day Dock (between Fisherman’s Wharf and the public launch ramp)
Route: Paddle to the Channel Islands Blvd. Bridge and back
Time: 11 a.m., Saturday, December 13
Pace: Go at your own speed
Safety: Harbor Patrol will be on hand to provide safety services
