Panteon Fest

Celebrate Día de los Muertos in Downtown Oxnard at the 4th Annual Panteón Fest on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Historic Heritage Square.

This vibrant cultural festival brings together art, music, food and community for eight hours of Día de los Muertos festivities. Explore community altars and an art gallery, enjoy live performances, shop from local vendors and experience the colorful Catrín & Catrina Contest while enjoying delicious food and drinks throughout the day.

This year's Panteón Fest celebrates the world of Chespirito, the legendary Mexican comedian and creator behind beloved characters including El Chavo del Ocho and El Chapulín Colorado. Festivalgoers are encouraged to dress as their favorite Chespirito character and join in a day filled with culture, nostalgia and community.
