The Tuna Invitational @ The Channel Islands Harbor

Get ready to reel in a big one! 🎣 The Tuna Invitational is coming to Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard from October 16–18, 2026, for a weekend of tuna fishing, friendly competition, prizes and fun on the water.

Presented by Suntex Marinas, this three-day Oxnard fishing tournament invites eligible marina slip holders and their guests to compete for the largest tuna and a chance to take home one of the tournament’s top prizes.

Fish for the Biggest Tuna

Lines are in beginning at 12 PM on Friday, October 16, giving anglers the weekend to head offshore in search of their winning catch.

The excitement culminates on Sunday, October 18 at 3 PM with the official weigh-in at the Wharf Hoist at Marine Emporium Landing. The largest tuna wins, with prizes awarded for first, second and third place.

Tournament Details:

• Dates: October 16–18, 2026
• Fishing Begins: Friday, October 16 at 12 PM
• Weigh-In: Sunday, October 18 at 3 PM
• Weigh-In Location: Wharf Hoist at Marine Emporium Landing, Channel Islands Harbor
• Entry Fee: $50 per angler, cash only
• Eligible Catch: Tuna species only
• Prizes: First, second and third place

Each registered angler will also receive atournament T-shirt andraffle ticket. Food and beverages will be provided during Sunday's weigh-in, and additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase.

Who Can Participate?

Slip holders at Marine Emporium Landing, Portside Marina, Kinship Marina, Peninsula Yacht Marina, Seaside Marina, Bahia Marina, Westport Marina, Vintage Marina and Channel Islands Harbor Marina are invited to participate. Eligible slip holders may also invite guests from other marinas to join the tournament.
