A Bit of Italy Comes to Channel Islands Harbor, Oxnard…..Gondola Paradiso Brings Venetian Romance to the City by the Sea
Oxnard, CA – Visitors are invited to indulge in all the romance and tradition of Venice with a new attraction in Channel Islands Harbor – gondola cruises. Operated by Gondola Paradiso, visitors can take a relaxing and romantic journey through the canals of the picturesque Channel Islands Harbor aboard Teresa, built and restored in southern California.
Owner, Mark Schooling brings 16 years of experience rowing gondolas through southern California to Oxnard. “A gondola cruise is an unforgettable experience that is fun and relaxing on its own or as part of a larger event such as an anniversary or wedding,” stated Schooling. “Everything is more romantic when viewed from a gondola and having a professional gondolier in charge means passengers can focus on each other and their surroundings,” he added.
Prior to launching Gondola Paradiso, Schooling was an experienced gondolier at Gondola Operations in Newport Beach, Sunset Beach, and Long Beach. He has helped train many gondoliers and participated in the 2013 US Gondola Nationals.
