Oxnard, CA – Julie Mino, President & CEO of the Oxnard Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Steve Buenger, Vice Chairman for the CVB’s Board of Directors, were awarded the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce Chairperson’s Awards of Excellence during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Installation of Directors held on January 31 at the Residence Inn by Marriott.
Mino was recognized for her participation on the Chamber Board where she was appointed to fill a vacancy and for contributions she has made through the promotion of travel and tourism in the Oxnard community. Buenger was honored for stepping up to lead the Chamber’s Political Action Committee and for his involvement in the PAC fundraiser.
“This is a wonderful honor and I am so happy to be joined by Steve Buenger who is quite active with the Oxnard CVB as well as the community,” stated Julie Mino. “We have a great team in Oxnard and it’s a privilege to work with such dynamic individuals,” she added.
