Oxnard Welcomes Wave of New and Renovated Hotels in 2025

Oxnard’s hospitality landscape is undergoing an exciting transformation, with new hotels opening their doors and long-standing properties unveiling major renovations and rebrands in 2025 and beyond. From extended-stay suites to modern mid-range brands, these developments offer travelers more ways than ever to enjoy the vibrant and dynamic coastal city.

Here’s a closer look at the new and updated hotels that are shaping Oxnard’s travel scene:

Now Open:

Staybridge Suites Oxnard – River Ridge by IHG – Formerly a Residence Inn, the recently-unveiled Staybridge Suites is now the largest in North America. The flagship destination features 252 extended-stay suites, 12,000 square feet of event space, resort-style amenities, and views of the adjacent River Ridge Golf Course. Guests can enjoy pickleball and tennis courts, fully equipped kitchens, complimentary breakfast, and a host of other perks. Staybridge Suites Oxnard is also the host hotel for Dallas Cowboys Training Camp, having just welcomed the team and fans for their 66th
annual training camp.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ventura Oxnard – Opened June 2025 in Oxnard’s RiverPark neighborhood, this new property offers 121 studio and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens, separate living/work areas, complimentary Wi-Fi, and smart TVs. Guests also have access to a pool, fitness center, sports court, outdoor grilling area, and buffet breakfast.

Holiday Inn Oxnard North – Previously the Courtyard by Marriott, this property completed a renovation and rebrand in June 2025, refreshing its accommodations and amenities to better serve business and leisure travelers alike.

What’s On the Horizon


SpringHill Suites is slated to open later this year with 121 rooms, adding modern accommodations to North Oxnard’s range of stays.

Tru by Hilton is also scheduled to open in late 2025, expanding budget-friendly lodging options for the city with 88 rooms, and amenities like a rooftop lounge, outdoor swimming pool and fitness room.

Looking further ahead, Hyatt House is slated to open in the Channel Islands Harbor area in the coming years, expanding Oxnard’s waterfront accommodation options.
