Though some areas are designated wilderness zones and bolting is prohibited, there are plenty of great climbing routes in this scenic alpine setting. If you take the PCH to get there, stop at Point Mugu Rock, where you can start on a leisurely but iconic climb.
Day 2: LOS PADRES NATIONAL FOREST
For an added day of rock climbing adventures, hop on the 101 North to the Los Padres National Forest.
