Visit Oxnard contracts ad campaign video shoots and photo shoots throughout the year to tell the story of our destination through our tourism partners. Already have high-quality photography? Marketing Strategy

Curious to know how we do it? Each year, we prepare a carefully curated, data-driven annual Marketing Plan to identify markers for success. Within the Marketing Plan, we detail the personas of our target audiences and define our strategy for leading them through the conversion funnel. That means more consumers coming to town with purchasing profiles in alignment with your business offerings.

Performance Metrics

Each year, we present the City of Oxnard with a recap on our performance. The Visit Oxnard Annual Report reviews how our multi-channel approach played out for the year, travel impact stats and projections for the coming year. Data, data and more data on how we’re driving visitation to the community and local businesses!

Crisis Communications

As destination leaders, we have to be prepared for the unthinkable – and in a crisis, be ready to step out of our traditional role. Prepared with guidance from “Playbook: Crisis Readiness and Response” by U.S. Travel Association, the Visit Oxnard Crisis Communications Plan is a living document created to guide our team through an emergency. Know that you can rely upon us to communicate with visitors (and residents) in an emergency – we’ve planned for it!

Contact List: Visit Oxnard has a vast network of contacts throughout the City and beyond. Our Board of Directors is made up of a diverse group of professionals with expertise from various sectors of the tourism and hospitality industries and government. Additionally, we hold seats with Oxnard West Ventura County Business Alliance (formerly known at Oxnard Chamber of Commerce); Oxnard Police Community Foundation; Ventura County Aviation Advisory Commission and are always out and about working with community groups.
