Overview

Strey Cellars is the latest addition to the Oxnard wineries. Open February 2014, owner operators Scott Ballew and Katie Wiegers dare to provide a super contemporary twist to wine tasting. Their cool, edgy winery experience is coupled by no less than great wine.
The concept is to “stray from the norm.” Strey is anything but traditional; it embraces the industrial look and feel of the neighborhood and takes “modern” to the next level! It’s about great wine and an awesome time; Scott and Katie are serving it straight up with no frills.
Come on in! Tasting room is open Saturdays and Sundays 11a to 6p and Weekdays by appointment. Single varietals prove to be the specialty at Strey including Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Zinfandel, Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Durif! $10 tasting of 6 wines; waived with bottle purchase.
