SPELLBOUND Magic Mashup Benefit Show

September 22, 2023, at 7:30 PM | Oxnard Performing Arts Center

Enjoy a night of magic for the whole family at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. SPELLBOUND Magic Mashup hosted by Oxnard Performing Arts Center Corporation (OPAC) and The House of MAGIC Foundation, is a one-night show that benefits the underserved, children at risk, and people with disabilities. This one-night show will bring some of the best names in magic to the stage for a fun-filled, family-friendly evening of magic and entertainment.

Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased online at spellboundmagicshow.com.

The 26th Annual Multicultural Festival

October 7, 2023 from 11 to 4 pm | Plaza Park in Downtown Oxnard

The Multicultural Festival features a variety of fun, educational activities, entertainment and exhibits for all ages. Enjoy performances, cultural dance groups, band and various activities for kids, including jolly jumpers. Grab a Multicultural Festival passport and receive stamps by visiting the booths representing Africa, Belize, Bolivia, China, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Mexico, the Middle East and the Philippines. Attendees who submit a fully stamped passport will receive a prize and be entered into the hourly raffle.

Shop locally or globally made hand-crafted goods. Indulge in delicacies from around the world and try something new with various gourmet food trucks and food vendors in the international food court.

32nd Annual Central Coast British Car Club Show

October 1, 2023 from 9 am - 2:30 pm | Harbor View Park (3600 Harbor Blvd)

Love cars? Then this event is for you. The Central Coast British Car Club Show features 125 British cars, food trucks, a DJ, and more. The car show is judged by the participants, with an awards ceremony held at 1:30 pm. This event is free to attend.

Ponies by the Sea Car Show

October 8, 2023 from 10-3 pm | Harbor View Park (3600 Harbor Blvd)

Mustangs from all eras will be on display at the Ponies by the Sea Car Show, hosted by the Tri-County Mustang Club. There will be food trucks, music, games, and more!

This is a free event to attend. Proceeds from registration fees will benefit Guide Dogs of America.

Enjoy a Fall-themed picnic

October 28-29, 2023 | Heritage Square in Downtown Oxnard

TRICK-OR-TREAT AT THE COLLECTION AT RIVERPARK

October 25 2023 from 5 pm-7 pm

Calling all superheroes, princesses, witches and ghosts! Dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy sweet treats at the Collection at RiverPark. This is a fun event the whole family can enjoy.

Parade of Frights

October 28, 2023 at 7 pm | Channel Islands Harbor

This Halloween, head to the Channel Islands Harbor to watch the inaugural Parade of Frights. The non-competitive Halloween-themed boat parade starts at 7 pm. Dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy watching the decked-out Halloween-themed vessels. There will also be activities at the Harbor before the parade.

Strey Cellars 2nd Annual Monsters Ball (HALLOWEEN PARTY)

October 29, 2023 from 6-10 pm

Howl at the moon and party “all night long” at Strey Cellars 2nd Annual Monsters Ball. Listen to live music by Ignition and enjoy food from (Food Truck to be announced). Dress up for the costume party.

Dia De Los Muertos

November 4, 2023 | Oxnard Performing Arts Center

Join OPAC as they celebrate the vibrant spirit of Dia de los Muertos!

Immerse yourself in a world of free activities including soulful music, local art exhibitions, inspiring performances by local dancers, poets and singers, guest speakers, artisan vendors, traditional food, children's activities and community altars.

Pay homage to your loved ones by bringing their cherished photos and memorabilia to OPAC's community altar. Let's come together to honor and remember those who have touched our lives. Don't miss out on this enchanting event filled with ofrendas and the warmth of community.

Dia de los muertos altar (downtown Oxnard)

November 1-3 | Carnegie Art Museum in Downtown Oxnard

Oxnard's Dia de los Muertos altar returns to the steps of Carnegie Art Museum. Decorated with a 6-foot-tall Catrina, marigolds, candles and momentums. You are invited to bring a framed picture of your dearly departed loved ones to place on the altar.

Ventura county farm day

November 4, 2023

More than 20 Ventura County farms, ranches, and agricultural organizations will open their doors and invite the public to experience a day of agricultural activities and tours during the 10th Annual Ventura County Farm Day. You can explore everything from berry fields and hydroponically grown food to livestock ranches. Shop for fresh and local products at many of the farms. This event is free to attend.
