Mark your calendars for these 2019 Fall Events in Oxnard, California!

Celebrate the season at one of Oxnard’s many autumn-inspired events. With the kids back in school, the weather cooling down and the smell of pumpkin spice lattes in the air, fall festivals and events tie the season together for those looking for kid-friendly activities to enjoy as a family (and for those who are young at heart)!

The 13th Gate Asylum Presents UNFORESEEN

When: Select dates in October

Where: 1975 Lockwood St., Oxnard

Over 15,000 square foot of maze awaits you as you enter the UNFORESEEN. Once inside the maze you will not anticipate what lies ahead of you. The unrested occupants you encounter will be the least of your worries as you navigate the dark hallways that leave you totally disoriented. This years maze has absolutely nothing to do with a storyline, the rooms do not have anything in common, and that’s how we like it. It’s all fair game, and now it’s time to play! This year YOUR FEARS WILL BE JUSTIFIED in the UNFORESEEN.

24th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival

When: October 5, 10am to 5pm

Where: Plaza Park, Downtown Oxnard

Celebrate the rich diversity of Oxnard at this free community festival. Explore different cultures through food, vendor booths, demonstrations and performances.

Ponies by the Sea Car Show

When: October 13, 10am to 3pm

Where: Marine Emporium Landing

The free event will feature mustangs from all eras and is hosted by the Tri-County Mustang Club. Prizes will be awarded to participants in many categories.

OPD Halloween Spooktacular

When: October 19, 5pm to 8pm

Where: Oxnard Police Department

Dress up in your favorite costumes and tour the spooky Oxnard Police Station! Trick or Treaters can check out decorated police units, Bear Cat, and more in the OPD Trunk or Treat row.

Heritage Scare

When: October 25, 6pm to 10pm

Where: Heritage Square Oxnard

Heritage Square in downtown Oxnard has hosted various ghost themed tours on and off through its 27 years. This year we bring back this tour for one night only on Friday Oct 25th. The tour highlights the stories that aren’t told very often, a rare public viewing of a ghost sighting photo in one of the houses, and stories of sometimes tragic deaths that have occurred related to the Square’s building’s owners.

The tour starts with a visit with History Channel’s celebrity star (from Pawn Stars), Doc Phineas. A meet and mingle with your group will include choice of wine or beer and appetizers with Doc before you take your guided tour. The primarily exterior tour (with select interiors), includes ghost stories, strange happenings and even historical colorful characters of Oxnard’s past. Each tour is limited to 20 guests with pre reservations only. A complimentary ticket to the weekend Steampunk Fest is included in the tour ticket. $25 per guest. 21 and over only for this event due to some adult content.

Halloween Haunt in the Park

When: October 26, 4pm to 7pm

Where: Plaza Park, Downtown Oxnard

Halloween Haunt in the Park provides kids with an opportunity to show off their costumes to compete for prizes. Other highlights include bounce houses, face painting, hands-on crafts, Halloween themed movie clips, music and more.

Where: Heritage Square Oxnard

Tickets $10 7-9PM / add an Italian Dinner Buffet by La Dolce Vita 6-8PM – $15 pre pay ($20 day of) Free concert admission with paid Saturday festival admission.

Come rock out at this post Festival Concert on Saturday Oct 26th at Heritage Square. Julien Martinez of the Road Brothers (and seen on season 12 of “The Voice”) will be performing a special concert with a 5-piece band in honor of our Steampunk Festival. Bar service is available with a no host bar. Get your tickets.

Channel Islands Harbor Farmers Market Pumpkin Fun Day

When: October 27, 10am to 2pm

Where: Marine Emporium Landing

Get a chance to show off your Halloween costume at the Channel Islands Harbor Farmer Market’s Pumpkin Fun Day! Kids can enjoy trick or treating all day, costume parades, pumpkin decorating and a costume contest, while adults can enjoy the beautiful and tasty fall harvest from local farmers.

Steampunk Festival: All HallowSteam

When: October 26, 11am to 8:30pm; October 27, 11am to 5pm

Where: Heritage Square Oxnard

Blending the Victorian era and technology with a bit of science fiction and fantasy. Think airships, goggles, jet packs, corsets, top hats, and parasols combined with imagination. This Halloween/Steampunk event is all that is whimsical with costumed characters, merchants and presenters. Tickets are $10/each; kids 12 & under are free.

Hip Hop Mindset Halloween Party

When: October 29, 6pm to 8pm

Where: Oxnard Performing Arts Center

An evening of dancing, games, a costume contest , giveaways, food and more! Join Hip Hop Mindset for a family-friendly Halloween Party in partnership with the Oxnard Police Department! A night of spooktacular music, games, food and more! Tickets ($10/each) include admission to event and two slices of pizza.

Trick or Treat Presented by Sunny Smiles

When: October 29, 5pm to 7pm

Where: The Collection at RiverPark

Princesses, pirates and pumpkins, gather around! The Collection invites you to stop in for a spell and enjoy fang-tastic treats at The Collection.

Presented by Sunny Smiles Dentistry for Children and Young Adults, families and friends can travel through The Collection with passport maps and visit participating merchants for either a trick or a treat. Attendees who complete their passport will be entered for a chance to win a spooktacular Collection grand prize. To support deployed troops, Sunny Smiles Dentistry will be giving trick-or-treaters the chance to enjoy a few goodies and earn money by selling back the rest of their candy. Sunny Smiles Dentistry will be sending the buy-back Halloween candy overseas in appreciation for our troops’ service. The candy buy-back is $1/lb. of candy – up to 5 pounds per household.

This wicked event fills up fast so mummies and daddies are strongly encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible. Tickets are reserved for children only; one ticket per trick-or-treater.

Tuesday and Cyrus Present Freak Show at Levity Live

When: October 31 at 8pm

Where: Levity Live Oxnard

Tuesday and Cyrus Present Freak Show. LA’s #1 Variety Show 3 years running. Featuring the top in side show acts, stand up comedy, musical and character comedy, performance art, drag, bands, and all sorts of dark twisted bizarre hilarious fun.

Seen on MTV True Life, BBC World of Weird, Freak Show has performed to sold out crowds for over 3 years. From LA’s Historic Globe Theater, AGT, The Gong Show and more have featured Freak Show’s acts.

“Punk Rock Cher” Tuesday Thomas hosts Freak Show, a nightmare you never knew you needed!

Ventura County Farm Day

When: November 9, 10am to 3pm

Where: 20+ Local Farms

The county’s beautiful countryside is filled with experiences to fill your senses and connect you with friendly people and their agricultural roots. Nine of the top 10 agriculture counties in the U.S. are in California. That means our farms provide the majority of the food for our country. We welcome you to learn about the farms in your backyard. You can explore everything from berry fields and hydroponically grown food to livestock ranches and more, while having the option to shop for fresh and local products at the many farms.
