Kick off the Halloween spirit on Saturday, October 24th, at 10 AM as paddlers launch from the East Bank Day Dock (located between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Public Boat Launch). Bring your paddleboard or kayak, dress in your best Halloween costume, and glide through the harbor in a festive pumpkin parade. This year’s event will also feature a costume contest and more spooky-fun surprises—so get creative and bring your friends!

Mustangs from all eras will be on display at the Ponies by the Sea Car Show, hosted by the Tri-County Mustang Club, October 11th, 2026, 10am to 3pm. There will be food trucks, music, games, and more! This is a free event to attend. Proceeds from registration fees will benefit Guide Dogs of America, a nonprofit organization that trains and provides guide dogs and service dogs to people in need. With fall bird migration season underway, visitors may spot a variety of seabirds, such as pelicans, seagulls and cormorants, gracefully gliding above the Pacific Ocean. Visitors to the Channel Islands may see the island scrub-jay, a jaybird unique to the islands.
